Institute of Nuclear Research RAS celebrates its 50th anniversary
Institute of Nuclear Research RAS celebrates its 50th anniversary and invites you to the anniversary scientific conference, which will be held online on December 3-4, 2020 In December 2020, the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution, the Institute of Nuclear Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences (INR RAS), turns 50 years old. The Institute of Nuclear Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences today is a major center of particle physics with a wide network of international cooperation projects. At INR RAS, work is carried out on cosmology, neutrino physics, astrophysics, high-energy physics, accelerator physics and technology, neutron research, nuclear medicine and other relevant scientific areas.
75th anniversary of the leading researcher at the Laboratory of Neutrino Astrophysics of the Department of High Energy Leptons and Neutrino Astrophysics of the INR RAS, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Mukhamedshin Rauf Adgamovich
December 3, 2023 turns 75 Leading Researcher of the Laboratory of Neutrino Astrophysics, Department of High Energy Leptons and Neutrino Astrophysics, INR RAS,Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Mukhamedshin Rauf Adgamovich We sincerely congratulate you on this wonderful anniversary,
Thank you for your dedication to science and wish you new scientific achievements! From the very beginning of his work in the Department of High Energy Leptons of Neutrino Astrophysics after graduating from graduate school at the Faculty of Physics of Moscow State University in 1976, Rauf Adgamovich has come a long way in science and became a recognized world-class expert in the field of high-energy physics and cosmic rays, cascade processes in matter and the interaction of hadrons at high energies. It should be noted that over many years of work, important scientific results were obtained, in particular, in studies of azimuthal correlations of the most energetic secondary particles in hadron-nuclear interactions at ultra-high energies and in the development of a heavy satellite project for direct studies of the spectrum of primary cosmic radiation at energies above 1015 eV .
Rauf Adgamovich has been heading the OLVENA Laboratory of Neutrino Astrophysics since 2012; from the very first meeting he has been the secretary of the OLVENA scientific seminar "Neutrino and Nuclear Astrophysics" named after. G.T. Zatsepin, within which more than a thousand meetings took place. The FANSY 2.0 program for modeling hadron interactions developed by Rauf Adgamovich is considered one of the best in the world in terms of the completeness of reproducible experimental data obtained at ultra-high energies of hadron interactions. Your contribution to the work of our Institute is invaluable. Under your leadership, a project for the complex installation "Pamir-XXI" was developed for the multi-component study of extensive air showers and strong interactions of primary cosmic rays of ultra-high energies within the framework of the international research center "Pamir-Chakaltaya". Your work has received public recognition.
You are the author of more than 200 scientific publications, you are a member of the Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences on the complex problem of “Cosmic Rays” and the international committee responsible for organizing international symposia on the interactions of ultra-high energy cosmic rays. Your achievements are marked with awards: the medal “In Memory of the 850th Anniversary of Moscow” (1997), the Certificate of Honor of the Presidium and the Trade Union of Employees of the Russian Academy of Sciences (1999). Your name is included in the INR RAS Book of Honor.
Dear Rauf Adgamovich! Thank you for your excellent work, We wish you and your loved ones good health, new ideas and achievements in science!
