Аннотация
Firmly established in astrophysical observations, dark matter
evades direct detection in experiments. Axions, axionlike particles
and dark photons are among the leading dark-matter candidates, and
numerous attempts to detect them in laboratories have been performed.
Here, we propose to advance these efforts substantially, extending
the sensitivity for dark-matter axions and dark photons in the mass
range (38–54) μeV down to the axion-photon couplings
gaγγ≲ 10^(-14)-10^(-15) GeV^(-1), motivated by generic models of quantum chromodynamics axion, and to the photon - dark photon kinetic
mixing \chi ≲10^(-16)-10^(-17) . Single-photon detectors based on
Josephson Junctions operating at ultralow temperatures T ~ 20 mK are
key elements of the experiment. The projected sensitivity will be
reached in one year of data taking with a magnetic field of (1.7–10) T,
making Cosmological Axion Sarov Haloscope (CASH) the most sensitive
haloscope in this mass range. An additional feature of the proposed setup
is the sensitivity to high frequency gravitational waves. We show that
the sensitivity for the gravitational wave strain is h ~ 10^(-22), one
order of magnitude weaker than predictions of some models of primordial black hole dark matter merging. Current experimental plans are discussed.
